20th Century Studios has revealed the upcoming digital, 4K, and Blu-ray launch dates for “The Amateur”, their latest action-packed thriller featuring Academy Award winner Rami Malek and Emmy Award winner Laurence Fishburne. Approximately two months have passed since the film’s initial theatrical debut.
Charlie Heller, a highly intelligent yet introverted CIA coder, works from a basement office at Langley headquarters. His tranquil life is disrupted when his wife dies in a terrorist attack in London. When his superiors fail to act, he decides to take matters into his own hands. He embarks on a risky journey across the world, pursuing those responsible. His intelligence becomes his most effective tool for evading capture and exacting revenge.
When is The Amateur digital, 4K, and Blu-ray release dates?
Beginning next Tuesday, June 10, “The Amateur” can be rented or purchased digitally across various platforms. Later, on July 8, the movie will also be released in 4K UHD and Blu-ray formats. While it received mixed critical reviews, the film managed to generate positive feedback from viewers. At present, it boasts an impressive Popcornmeter score of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.
