In Elden Ring: Nightreign, FromSoftware’s newest souls-like game, not only does it incorporate rogue-like elements, but it also offers permanent enhancements, one of which is called Relics. These relics significantly impact your stats and provide various bonuses. Each Nightfarer can carry up to three Relics at a time, which can be equipped using the Relic Rites altar located in Roundtable Hold.

As you embark on multiple adventures, you’ll amass a substantial hoard of Artifacts. However, as you acquire stronger ones, some older items may become outdated and take up space in your inventory. Fortunately, the game offers an option to exchange these unwanted or obsolete Artifacts for Murk by selling them. Here’s how to sell Artifacts in Elden Ring Nightreign:

1. Find a Merchant or Vendor: Look for NPC merchants or vendors scattered across the world of Elden Ring Nightreign. They usually have distinctive icons on your map and can be found in various locations, such as towns, dungeons, or campsites.

2. Interact with the Merchant: Approach the merchant you’ve located and select the “Sell” option to open your inventory.

3. Choose the Artifacts to Sell: Browse through your inventory and select the outdated or unwanted Artifacts that you wish to sell. Keep in mind that once sold, these items are gone forever.

4. Receive Murk: The merchant will then offer you Murk for the Artifacts you’ve chosen to sell. Accept the offer to complete the transaction and earn your Murk. This currency can be used to purchase useful items or upgrades from the same merchant.

How To Sell Relics for Murk in Elden Ring Nightreign

Similar to enchanting and selling Relics, both actions are linked to the Relic Rites table at Roundtable Hold. You can reach this either by visiting the altar located in the central hub or directly from your map’s Relics management section. This interface displays all your acquired Relics, enabling you to equip them for each Nightfarer. To access the selling options, move to the tabs on the far right side and find the Sell section right after the Executor. Select any Relics you want to sell by highlighting them, followed by pressing the designated button at the bottom of the screen (e.g., R3 on PlayStation). This will display a confirmation prompt with the Murk amount you’ll receive in exchange, which depends on the Relic’s tier as follows:

– Common Relics: Lower Murk reward
– Rare Relics: Moderate Murk reward
– Epic Relics: Higher Murk reward
– Legendary Relics: Exceptional Murk reward

  • Delicate (Small): 150 Murk
  • Polished (Medium): 350 Murk
  • Grand (Large): 550 Murk

You’ll find that Murk is the medium for acquiring fresh Nightfarer skins, expressive gestures, and other valuable goods. Moreover, obtaining the Scenic Flatstone (worth 600 Murk) from the Small Jar Bazaar awards you a random Relic.
