Apple TV+ has revealed the release date and first photos for Slow Horses Season 5.
The thrilling spy series hails from the Slough House novels penned by Mick Herron, a British author. In this production, Gary Oldman takes on the role of Jackson Lamb, heading up Slough House – a group of second-chance intelligence operatives within MI5, who have been relegated due to career-ending errors. Despite their past mistakes, Lamb and his team are consistently thrust into critical espionage operations, demonstrating their continued relevance in the world of international spying.
In Apple TV+’s description, we find that tech whiz Roddy Ho becomes an enigma when he acquires a glamorous new partner. As a string of peculiar incidents unfolds throughout the city, it’s up to the Slow Horses to piece together how everything is interconnected. Remember, in the cloak-and-dagger world of espionage, the London Rules – watch your back – are always relevant.
When is the Slow Horses Season 5 release date?
Come next Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, I’ll be diving back into my favorite series as its fifth season premieres worldwide on Apple TV+, dropping the first two episodes all at once! Then, every seven days, a new episode will follow, keeping me hooked until October 22nd.

In addition to Oldman, the stars of Slow Horses Season 5 include Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Ruth Bradley, James Callis, Tom Brooke, and Jonathan Pryce. Nick Mohammed from Ted Lasso is set to make a special appearance in the cast.
