Tim Miller, the director behind Deadpool, recently disclosed an X-Men film concept that he had been working on previously.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller once planned to create an X-Men film that would’ve been a fusion of the vibe from “Home Alone” and the horror elements of “Alien,” based on Uncanny X-Men #143.
In Uncanny X-Men #143, when Kitty Pryde is the only one left at the mansion, she encounters a N’garai demon. The question posed in the solicitation is: Can this new X-Man withstand and defeat the villain on her own?
Miller stated that he was working on the project during his tenure at Fox, but following its merger with Disney, he has continued to express interest in helming an X-Men film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Miller believes that Marvel has a hidden strength they haven’t revealed yet, which is the entire X-Men universe. This aspect initially drew him to comics, and he expressed this interest to Marvel boss Kevin Feige, stating, “If there was ever anything you’d let me work on in the Marvel Universe, please, let it be the X-Men.
Currently, Marvel Studios is working on a new X-Men film, but there’s no set release date yet, and details about the production are scarce. The script for this movie is being penned by Michael Lesslie, while Jake Schreier, who directed Thunderbolts*, is being considered as a potential director for the project.
