Randy White passes away at 72, claims report

On June 1, 2025, Randy White, the spouse of renowned country singer Lorrie Morgan, passed away at the age of 72.

Since April 2024, White had been fighting oral cancer. His passing was announced by his manager, Tony Conway, through a statement to PEOPLE magazine.

In the wee hours of the morning, White unfortunately succumbed to his health issues after prolonged care and hospitalization. In April 2025, Morgan had to postpone a series of shows due to White’s second hospitalization in Middle Tennessee. Conway shared Morgan’s sentiments: “Randy has stood by my side as a pillar for 17 years… His love has been a blessing to me. Forever and always, Ran-Ran, I will cherish and mourn you.

1953 saw the birth of Randy White, who after a prosperous career as an entrepreneur running a flourishing landscaping business, now enjoys his retirement. His educational journey included Hendersonville High School and Volunteer State Community College. In a private ceremony held in September 2010, Randy White tied the knot with Morgan.

In simpler terms, Morgan’s son, Jesse Keith Whitley, posted a tribute to White on Facebook saying, “This wonderful man has cared for my mom and me and my sister like we were his own… You’ve put up one incredible fight, RanMan!

As a gamer, I’ve got a pretty big family of six kids – two from my past with the country singer Keith Whitley and four from my previous relationships. To add to that, we’ve got a grand total of 15 grandkids and one great-grandchild! Before tying the knot with me, Morgan was married five times before, including her union with Keith. But now, we’re building our life together.

As a devoted admirer, I’m keeping a close eye on the situation regarding White’s funeral arrangements, but as of now, Morgan’s summer tour is still on the calendar. Back in April 2024, Morgan bravely shared that White was battling cancer and expressed heartfelt gratitude for our support.
