At a promotional gathering, Vishnu Manchu discussed the matter concerning the missing Kannappa hard drive. He clarified that the visual effects for the film were being handled in various urban centers such as Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, London, and Dubai.

The actor revealed that a hard drive containing VFX work had been sent from Mumbai and, as is often the case, it was delivered to his father Mohan Babu’s home in Film Nagar. He also noted that all three of them use the same address for their packages, with their managers usually collecting them from there.

As he shared, the specific hard disk was given to Raghu and Charitha. However, since then, they have disappeared without a trace, according to him.
