In Elden Ring Nightreign, players have the opportunity to delve into the backstory of certain characters by embarking on the Executor’s Remembrance quests.

Characters called the Nightfarers are the ones players control in Elden Ring: Nightreign. These pre-defined figures boast existing skill sets and final abilities within the game, reducing the need for extensive character development.

Yet, it’s important to note that just because the Nightfarers don’t have a traditional narrative, it doesn’t make them devoid of personality or history. In fact, in the game Nightreign, FromSoftware opted for a bolder storytelling method. Instead of subtly hinting at characters’ stories, they chose to present each Nightfarer with their own distinct tale. Players can uncover these narratives by gathering memories and completing Remembrance quests for each character.

How To Complete the Executor’s Remembrance in Elden Ring Nightreign

To delve into The Executor’s Memories, first, acquaint yourself with The Journal. You’ll locate it on the left side of the Lost Table of Grace within Roundtable Hold. Once you understand its contents, you’ll be capable of reading through each Nightfarer’s tales recorded in the Journal. Additionally, within this book, you will uncover Remembrances that have the power to take you back to significant moments in the characters’ past lives.

To fully understand the Nightfarer, it’s not a straightforward process. You need to discover Memory Fragments hidden throughout the game by completing different expeditions. Once obtained, these fragments will advance your progress in the Journal. After amassing enough Memory Fragments, select “Begin Remembrance” within the Executor’s journal entry. This specific Nightfarer has two such memories to uncover.

First Executor’s Remembrance

In the initial log entry of the Executor, you’ll find guidance leading you to Limveld. Throughout this adventure, your main goal is achieving the objective and gathering more information about the Nightfarer. All other tasks will be ancillary and entirely optional. Once you initiate the Remembrance, follow these steps:

  • In the Realm of Remembrance, talk to the Guardian who is looking at a painting in the journal room, and exhaust all his dialogues.
  • Talk to the Priestess and exhaust her dialogue to unlock the Find Flowers personal objective in Limveld.
  • Go to the red mark on the map as the Executor and defeat the strayhounds.
  • Obtain the Blessed Flowers.
  • Finish the Expedition. It does not matter if you complete it or die.
  • Speak to the Priestess back at the Roundtable.
  • Speak to the Iron Menial in the forest behind the castle and give him the Blessed Flowers.
  • Interact with the canvas and complete the first Remembrance.

As a gamer, remember this key point: We can accomplish these tasks together with fellow players, but only if they’re also carrying the same kind of Remembrance as ours.

Second Executor’s Remembrance

In your next journey, you’ll revisit Limveld as part of the Executor’s Second Commemoration. This is the final commemoration task assigned to you by the Executor. To wrap it up, you’ll need to complete the Shifting Earth Mountaintop event and confront two distinct bosses. After initiating the quest, be sure to follow these steps:

  • Speak to the Priestess and exhaust all dialogues to unlock the Find a golden sprout in Limveld objective.
  • Start any expedition in Limveld while the Shifting Earth: Mountain is active. Then, you will see two red markers on the mountain on your map. Go towards the one with the lighter shade.
  • Once there, take on the Erdtree Avatar and win. We recommend using a heavy weapon in this fight to stagger the enemy.
  • Take the Golden Sprout.
  • Finish the expedition by either dying or completing it.
  • Speak to the Priestess back at the Roundtable.
  • Watch the cutscene, and then confront the Executor’s Cry. Focus on deflecting the boss’s attacks, which will allow you to use your weapon art and deal massive damage.
  • Walk into the hut in the opposite direction from the cliff.
  • Speak to the Crucible Knight there.
  • Speak to the Priestess again to complete the Remembrance.

After finishing all tasks in both quests, you’ll earn the distinctive Remembrance skin for the Executor, along with the Golden Sprout Relic. Furthermore, if you accomplish these Remembrances by playing as the Executor and defeat the final boss, a unique cutscene tailored to the Nightfarer will be unlocked.
