The Fantastic Four: First Steps Star Says Galactus Isn’t ‘Evil’

Actor Ralph Ineson, who stars in “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”, has shared insights on the anticipated portrayal of Galactus in the upcoming film.

What did Ralph Ineson say about Galactus in The Fantastic Four: First Steps?

During an interview with Empire Magazine, Ineson delved into the process of understanding a character who, in essence, embodies a deity. Part of this exploration involved visualizing how such a massive entity would move and make sounds.

Ineson mentioned that he drove through the Mont Blanc tunnels in the Alps, likening it to his windpipe and trachea. He also visited many tall buildings, spending a significant portion of an afternoon atop the Gherkin building in London, gazing out and deep in thought. This led to a reprimand from his wife, who reminded him that he needed to greet the bride and groom at some point.

Although Galactus stands tall and has an appetite for planets, Ineson doesn’t automatically consider him a villain.

“I don’t think Galactus is evil,” the star said.

The main characters of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” are headlined by Pedro Pascal portraying Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach taking on the role of Ben Grimm. The movie also features Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner in a dual role as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer. Furthermore, Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne have been added to the cast for unspecified roles.
