In the second part of its SS25 collection, Oakley Factory Team is unveiling a fresh take on their unusual Flesh design, dubbed Flesh Warp. This innovative version will be available in two main colorways: Brain Dead and Oakley. The partnership between these brands demonstrates that they continue to reinvent their preferred model, featuring an unbalanced lacing system, a bespoke outsole, and a sculpted upper made entirely of leather.
To introduce the latest model, Oakley Factory Team kicks off with a timeless greyscale pair, introducing “Vaporous Gray” in a light, neutral leather finish and “Black/White,” an all-black design accentuated by the Oakley logo. This design, while heavily influenced by sneaker culture through details like the laces, leather upper, and stitched overlays, also strays from tradition with its futuristic shape and daring asymmetry. The end product embodies high-performance design reminiscent of specialized equipment for cycling and football, particularly in the diagonal lacing system.
With the new model version, collaborators bring back the classic Flesh design, now using premium full-grain leather, hairy suede, and clear Orbital detailing. The Full Grain Leather Flesh comes in a bright shade called “Lucent White,” while both the Hairy Suede Flesh come in two options: “Ganache/Burgundy” and “Sand/Blue.” Lastly, the Orbital Flesh will be available in the subtle hue of “Ghost Gray.
The second installment of the Oakley Factory Team SS25 collection will be available starting June 3 at 10 AM Pacific Time, at the Brain Dead online store, Brain Dead physical stores, Oakley’s official website, Miami Oakley Lincoln Road, Milan Oakley Cadorna, Milan Oakley San Babila, London Oakley Covent Garden, Oakley Marina Bay Singapore, Oakley Foothill Ranch, Tokyo Oakley Shibuya, and selected retailers.
