Ezra Miller Reunites With Lynne Ramsay for Vampire Movie

Filmmaker Lynne Ramsay has shared details about her upcoming directorial project, which she refers to as a vampire movie. This unnamed production will star Ezra Miller, best known for his role in The Flash, who has previously collaborated with Ramsay in the 2011 psychological drama film titled We Need to Talk About Kevin.

Renowned filmmaker is particularly recognized for her critically praised films like “Ratcatcher” from 1999, “Morvern Callar” in 2002, and “You Were Never Really Here” in 2017. After a hiatus, Ramsay returns to directing with the highly anticipated dark comedy-drama “Die, My Love,” adapted from Ariana Harwicz’s book. Set to hit screens soon, this movie stars Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. At its world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, it was met with a six-minute long standing ovation.

In a recent conversation, Ramsay revealed she’s working on a “vampire film” with Miller stepping into the lead role. When queried about the timeline for starting production, the filmmaker from Scotland reassured viewers that they won’t have to endure a ten-year wait for this production to commence.

Ramsay made clear that he doesn’t have a decade for the project; instead, he must accomplish it more swiftly than that. This is based on what Jon [Glazer] suggested, and Ramsay greatly admires both him and PTA (Paul Thomas Anderson) as filmmakers.

In the future, the vampire film will mark Miller’s first significant undertaking, having been preceded by the 2023 DCU movie “The Flash.” However, prior to the release of “The Flash” in cinemas, Miller found himself embroiled in a legal issue. This stemmed from allegations against him that encompassed various offenses such as disorderly conduct, harassment, and even felony charges.
