Krishna (2008)
2008 marked my South cinema debut when I stepped into the role of Jakka in the Telugu action comedy film, Krishna. Sharing screen space with Ravi Teja and Trisha Krishnan was an honor, and while my character was that of the villain, I made a lasting impact through my performance.
Ek Niranjan (2009)
In the movie Ek Niranjan starring Prabhas, Mukul Dev portrayed Kailash, a significant character crucial to the film’s climax. His role is embedded within high-octane action scenes, and at first glance, it seems detrimental. However, it becomes clear that he is actually depicted as one of the unfortunate victims of deceit.
Adhurs (2010)
2010 saw Mukul Dev becoming a part of the star-studded cast of the Telugu action-comedy Adhurs, alongside Jr NTR and Nayanthara. The movie was a huge commercial hit in its time and received accolades for its unique, fast-moving storyline. Mukul Dev, who had already gained popularity for his roles as typical villains, portrayed the character of Rasool, a powerful gang leader.
Bhai (2013)
In another lively Telugu film featuring action and comedy, Mukul Dev took on the menacing role of Anthony, a ruthless antagonist who creates chaos for the hero as he pursues his love interest. This movie, titled “Manmadhudu,” starred Nagarjuna Akkineni and was moderately successful at the box office.
My Story (2018)
In one of his final roles in Southern cinema, Mukul Dev took on a significant part in the movie “My Story,” starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, which came out in 2018.
