Paramount Plus is set to debut two new TV shows and movies from May 26 to June 1, 2025. Among these are the American Music Awards special and the premiere of Rock, Paper, Scissors Season 1.
On May 26, 2025, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time and 5 p.m. Pacific Time, the American Music Awards will be broadcast on CBS, and it will also be available for streaming on Paramount Plus. If you have a Paramount Plus with Showtime plan, you can watch this event live as it airs on CBS. Those who have different Paramount+ plans can stream the event the following day.
This year’s AMAs will broadcast live straight from Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be hosted by the renowned actress Jennifer Lopez. Kendrick Lamar, who boasts a total of 10 nominations, is this year’s frontrunner. Close behind him in a three-way tie are Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey, each with seven nominations apiece. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has been nominated across six categories.
Next, May 28, 2025, will see Nickelodeon’s Rock, Paper, Scissors drop on Paramount Plus.
Among the artists making their debut as nominees for this event are Benson Boone, Doechii, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Tyla, Lola Young, and Teddy Swims.
Developed by Josh Lehrman and Kyle Stegina, this humorous animated series centers around three main characters who are also best friends and housemates. These three frequently engage in competition for various reasons but ultimately value their bond. Furthermore, each character offers a distinct element to the friendship: Rock serves as the emotional core, Paper is the level-headed one, and Scissors provides an element of unpredictable chaos.
The cast for this series includes Carlos Alazraqui, Thomas Lennon, Ron Funches, JP Karliak, Melissa Villasenor, Eddie Pepitone, Ray Chase, Abby Trott, and Jonathan Lipow. In simpler terms, these are the voices you’ll be hearing on the show.
