Jamie Foxx Responds to Conspiracy Theory That Diddy Tried to Kill Him

Jamie Foxx, who starred in “Django Unchained,” has publicly addressed the theory suggesting that rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs played a role in his 2023 medical emergency. After months of buzz and online chatter, he has now cleared up the matter during a recent conversation.

Jamie Foxx addresses Diddy conspiracy theories

In April 2023, Jamie Foxx clarified strange speculations linking Sean “Diddy” Combs to his unexpected health incident. During a recent discussion on The Hollywood Reporter, the actor revealed that while he was in the hospital and sedated, he secretly checked his phone and found out that online rumors were spreading about Diddy attempting to harm him.

Foxx expressed bafflement about the incident, stating he found it hard to believe he had a stroke given his excellent health. He dismissed rumors linking Diddy to the event, emphatically stating, “No, Puffy did not attempt to harm me.” Yet, the notion that really drove him up the wall was the speculation that he had been replaced with a clone.

In conversation with his psychologist the following day, he expressed, “I’ve figured it out, you’re attempting to create a duplicate of me for higher marketability in other countries because I’m not white.” After a back-and-forth discussion, the psychologist responded, “It seems we’ll be adjusting your medication dose.

Back in 2024, during his Netflix special “What Had Happened Was,” Jamie Foxx didn’t shy away from poking fun at the ongoing rumors. He playfully implied that he was an early leaver from Diddy’s parties because things seemed a bit suspicious to him, saying, “It’s slippery in here.” Now, looking back, it turns out his humor was masking a medical crisis – a brain bleed and subsequent stroke that landed him in the hospital just a year prior.
