For nearly three years now, New Balance’s 990v6 sneaker model has been a consistent favorite among runners. It continues to be popular due to regular updates in its design and exciting collaborations with figures like Action Bronson, generating a lot of buzz within the footwear industry.

Earlier this week, we showcased a color scheme called “Black/Gray,” and now a fresh “Inkwell” version has emerged, courtesy of our American manufacturing team. This latest design features an upper made from mixed materials, starting with a suede mudguard in a deep blue hue. The base is a blend of blue synthetic material, black suede, and nubuck. The “N” logos on both sides are outlined in white, framing blue lettering, while additional white details can be found on the lining, shoelaces, and the front part of the otherwise gray and off-white midsole.

Currently, there’s no official word from New Balance about the release of the “Inkwell” colorway for the 990v6 by their MADE in USA division.
