Actor Alan Ritchson, known for his role in The Reacher series, has now officially taken up the main character position in an upcoming movie called “Fortune.” At this time, specifics about its storyline are being kept secret, but it’s been referred to as a blend of Memento and Raiders of the Lost Ark. Alongside his leading role, Ritchson will also be involved in producing the film.
Who’s involved in Alan Ritchson’s new adventure movie?
Neil Widener and Gavin James are set to script “Fortune”, inspired by their own short tale. This writing pair has just finished penning Warner Bros.’ latest hit film adaptation, “A Minecraft Movie”. The production is under Jerry Bruckheimer, a veteran in the adventure genre with a history of producing popular series like Pirates of the Caribbean and National Treasure.
Currently, Skydance is in talks to obtain the rights for the project. Andrew Schneider will be overseeing this venture as executive producer. This collaboration between Ritchson and Bruckheimer is their latest project, following Bruckheimer’s previous role as a producer on Guy Ritchie’s 2024 action thriller The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
In the upcoming adaptations of Counting Miracles by Amazon MGM Studios, Richson will make an appearance. This film is based on Nicholas Sparks’ novel with the same title. Additionally, Richson has several other movie roles lined up, including:
1. Motor City, an action-crime drama alongside Shailene Woodley.
2. War Machine, an action-thriller featuring Dennis Quaid.
3. The Man with the Bag, an action comedy co-starring Awkwafina.
4. Playdate, another action comedy that also features Alan Tudyk and Isla Fisher.
Currently, Richson is involved in production for another action thriller movie called Runner, which will also star Owen Wilson.
