What are the new difficulty options in Lies of P?

In the launch of Lies of P: Overture, the highly anticipated expansion for the popular Neowiz game, players can expect to encounter different challenge levels. The expansion includes three distinct difficulty settings: Butterfly’s Guidance, Awakened Puppet, and Legendary Stalker. Among these options, Legendary Stalker serves as the standard difficulty level, while Butterfly’s Guidance and Awakened Puppet offer more accessible challenges for players. These new difficulty settings will be included in a patch that will be released simultaneously with the expansion.

According to Video Games Chronicle, the developers behind Lies of P chose to incorporate easier difficulty settings for a couple of key reasons. Primarily, this decision was made in response to feedback from the gaming community. Additionally, the studio aimed to expand their audience by creating a gameplay experience that is accessible and enjoyable for players of all skill levels.

It’s been confirmed that Neowiz is developing a follow-up to the popular game Lies of P. Interestingly, this upcoming release, known as Lies of P: Overture, serves as a prequel to the original game. During the February State of Play event, we got our first glimpse of the gameplay through its official trailer.

This tale takes you to the city of Krat during its hauntingly beautiful late-19th-century Belle Époque era, on the precipice of the Puppet Frenzy massacre.
