Recently, Kristin Cavallari voiced her opinions on Taylor Swift getting drawn into Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s ongoing legal dispute. With this statement, fans have been eager to understand Cavallari’s perspective. The contentious legal battle between Lively and Baldoni started in December 2024 when Lively filed a lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star, alleging sexual harassment during production. Since then, the case has attracted widespread interest from the public.
So, what did Kristin Cavallari say about Blake Lively and Taylor Swift? Here’s what we know.
What did Kristin Cavallari say about Blake Lively and Taylor Swift?
In simpler terms, Kristin Cavallari stated that the mention of Taylor Swift’s name in Blake Lively’s “It Ends With Us” legal dispute with Justin Baldoni was done to attract more public interest or attention.
In a recent episode of the Let’s Be Honest podcast hosted by Kristin Cavallari, she and her friend Justin Anderson talked about Taylor Swift’s role in Blake Lively’s legal case and the singer receiving a subpoena. Cavallari expressed her view that Swift being subpoenaed was “nonsense.
The television personality then commented, “Her lawyer mentioned that it seemed she needed to grant a license for her song in the film, among the 19 others involved. It’s Taylor Swift who’s being summoned, but she could have used any of the other artists instead.
Anderson noted that Lively not only implicated Swift but also involved her in a contentious court case.

Cavallari’s remarks are connected to a statement issued by Swift’s representative to US Weekly recently, following the “Bad Blood” artist being served with a subpoena.
The spokesperson argued that the subpoena was crafted to exploit Taylor Swift’s fame for generating sensational headlines rather than concentrating on the actual details of the case.
The statement underscored the point that Taylor Swift, known for her hit “Lover,” played no part in producing “It Ends With Us.” As reported by her representative, she didn’t get a chance to watch the movie until several weeks after its public premiere, as she was fully engaged with the Eras Tour at that time.
Furthermore, it was made clear that Swift’s link to the movie was merely giving authorization for the use of her song “My Tears Ricochet”. Notably, this is similar to what 19 other artists did, allowing filmmakers to incorporate their music into the film as well.
