Sony Pictures Entertainment has shared the official trailer for Darren Aronofsky’s Caught Stealing.

In the ’90s setting, an upcoming movie finds Austin Butler portraying a once-prominent baseball player who is unexpectedly thrown into the dark side of New York City, having agreed to cat-sit for a friend. Unfortunately for Butler’s character, his seemingly simple task turns out to involve multiple groups armed with guns.

In addition to the main cast, we have Zoë Kravitz, Matt Smith, Regina King, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D’Onofrio, Griffin Dunne, Bad Bunny, and Carol Kane joining the production. Directing and co-producing are Darren Aronofsky along with Jeremy Dawson, Dylan Golden, and Ari Handel.

The movie is adapted from a novel by Charlie Huston with an identical title, initially intended to be adapted by David Hayter. In 2013, Patrick Wilson was slated for the main role, but unfortunately, the project didn’t materialize.
