When is the Platonic Season 2 release date?

The second season of Platonic is set to stream on August 6, starting with the first two episodes. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly until October 1, 2025. This announcement follows Apple TV+’s recent decision to renew Rogen’s newest comedy series, The Studio, for a second season.

The show is brought to life by Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco, who are responsible for both its creation and direction. Additionally, Seth Rogen and Evan Byrne will not only act in the series but also assume executive producer roles. For Season 2, Luke Macfarlane (known from ‘Bros’), Tre Hale, and Carla Gallo (‘Neighbors’ films) are returning, along with newcomers Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney, and Beck Bennett. Sony Pictures Television is the production company behind this project, as Stoller Global Solutions, Stoller’s own production company, has an overall deal there.

This 10-episode comedy series revolves around two old friends, once inseparable, who haven’t spoken for years. Their reunion sets off a whirlwind of events that intensifies their friendship and causes chaos in both their lives, offering plenty of laughs along the way.
