Universal Studios has recently released a fresh trailer for “Jurassic World Rebirth,” the latest addition to their popular dinosaur series. This upcoming film will be headlined by Scarlett Johansson, who is well-known for her work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie is slated for release in theaters on July 2, 2025.

This movie is helmed by Gareth Edwards, who penned the script along with David Koepp, inspired by the characters conceived by Michael Crichton. Steven Spielberg, Denis L. Stewart, and Jim Spencer are the executive producers, while Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley take on producer roles. The film is a joint production between Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures.

Who is in the Jurassic World Rebirth trailer?

The talented cast also includes Jonathan Bailey from Bridgerton, portraying Dr. Henry Loomis, as well as Oscar winner Mahershala Ali playing Duncan Kincaid. Alongside them are Rupert Friend (Homeland), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer), Luna Blaise (Manifest), David Iacono (The Summer I Turned Pretty), and Audrina Miranda (Lopez vs. Lopez). Additionally, we have Philippine Velge (Station Eleven), Bechir Sylvain (BMF), and Ed Skrein (Deadpool) in key roles.

Five years since the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the world’s ecosystem has turned hostile for dinosaurs, with only a few surviving in isolated tropical areas that mirror their original habitats. The three massive creatures within this biosphere possess a secret: they hold the key to a groundbreaking drug that could offer extraordinary lifesaving benefits for humanity.

Johansson stars as Zora Bennett, a highly trained undercover operative, tasked with gathering genetic samples from three colossal dinosaurs in a secret mission. However, when Zora’s operation encounters a civilian family whose boat was overturned by aggressive water-dwelling dinosaurs, they end up stranded on an island. There, they uncover a chilling secret that has been concealed from the world for years.
