Vijay Sethupathi’s movie ACE censored U/A; know runtime, star cast and everything

The movie titled “Ace,” featuring Vijay Sethupathi as the main character, is set to premiere in cinemas on May 23, 2025. Prior to its debut, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has approved it and given it a U/A 13+ rating, which means it’s suitable for viewers aged 13 and above, accompanied by an adult.

The movie titled “Ace” marks the actor’s 51st main screen appearance and is being promoted as a blend of romance and crime comedy. With its rating, it has been disclosed that the film will run for about 2 hours and 36 minutes, which translates to 156.9 minutes when converted.

The narrative centers around Kannan, a man yearning for a new beginning, who relocates to Malaysia. Yet, his odyssey veers into darkness as a failed heist unwittingly entangles him in a world of criminality and duplicity.

The ability of the character to find his way through various obstacles, as well as outwit others for survival, establishes the plotline for the remainder of the film.

In the starring role is Vijay Sethupathi, while well-known actors such as Rukmini Vasanth (from Sapta Saagaradaache Ello), Yogi Babu, BS Avinash, Babloo Prithiveeraj, and Divya Pillai, among others, take on significant roles in this film.

As a dedicated follower, I’m excited to share that the upcoming movie is the work of director Arumuga Kumar, who’s teaming up with Vijay for their second collaboration following “Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren.” This time around, it’s a captivating black comedy film. The star-studded cast includes Gautham Karthik, Gayathrie, and Niharika Konidela in lead roles.

In this film, Justin Prabhakaran composed the songs, while Sam CS worked on the background music. Karan B. Rawat took care of the cinematography, and Fenny Oliver handled the editing process.

On the professional side of things for Vijay Sethupathi, his latest appearance was in the movie titled “Viduthalai Part 2”. This sequel, helmed by director Vetrimaaran, portrays the life of a police constable during a mission to capture a revolutionary leader. Actor Soori shares the screen with him in this film.

In the future, Vijay Sethupathi has upcoming films such as “Train,” directed by Mysskin, and “Thalaivan Thalaivii,” led by Pandiraj, in his schedule. The latter’s launch was recently revealed by the producers, with Nithya Menen taking on the main female role.
