As reported by GQ India, Jr NTR earned an initial payment of approximately four lakh rupees for his first film, “Ninnu Choodalani”. Upon receiving his first paycheck, the actor generously handed it over to his mother, since he was unsure about how to manage the funds.
Currently, Jr NTR is among the highest earning actors within the Telugu movie industry. According to an article from Koimoi, he received approximately 45 crores Indian Rupees for his part in SS Rajamouli’s Academy Award-winning film RRR. It is said that he earned around 60 crores for his roles in both Devara and War 2.
In terms of his career, Jr NTR’s latest appearance was in Devara directed by Koratala Siva. He shared the screen with Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in this action-drama. At present, he’s gearing up for the premiere of War 2, a Bollywood project featuring Hrithik Roshan, set to debut on August 14, 2025.
Next up, Jr NTR is collaborating with Prashanth Neel for their as-yet-unnamed venture, known as NTRNeel. As per TopMob reports, he will also portray Dadasaheb Phalke in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film following SSMB29. In 2023, SS Rajamouli unveiled a new project called Made in India – an upcoming biopic focusing on the life of Dadasaheb Phalke.
