This design duo from the studio views Cadre as a living artwork rather than mere furniture. Drawing inspiration from Bettina Bürkle’s artistic explorations, Cadre encapsulates ideas of transparency and perspective. Bürkle’s work frequently showcases translucent layers and overlapping colors, resulting in ethereal landscapes that seem to change before the observer’s very eyes. Building upon this concept, Draga & Aurel have transformed these artistic themes into a practical, interactive design piece.

Made from Lucite, the Cadre sideboard is vibrantly accented with green elements that scatter and bounce light, adding dimension and dynamism.
