In case you didn’t know, I am fortunate to be a part of a family that includes Jr NTR, his lovely wife Lakshmi Pranathi, and our two beautiful children, Jaya Krishna and Bhargav Ram. Our little treasure Bhargav was born on June 14, 2018, making him the younger sibling in our loving family.
Discussing Jr NTR, he’s been generating buzz following our exclusive revelation at TopMob that he will portray the character of Dadasaheb Phalke. Previously, in 2023, it was director SS Rajamouli and his son, SS Karthikeya, who unveiled their intentions to create a film chronicling Indian cinema history, with a focus on the life of Dadasaheb Phalke.
According to a source close to the production, it appears that the script for this project has been finalized, and an insider shared, “Jr NTR found the script captivating as it delves into lesser-known stories about Dadasaheb Phalke. This narrative traces the inception and growth of Indian cinema, leaving Jr NTR astounded by its intricate details. He is thrilled about portraying the founder of Indian cinema on screen.
Moving on to Jr NTR’s career, he recently appeared in Devara: Part 1, a film directed by Koratala Siva. This production starred a number of talented actors such as Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and several others.
In the time to come, you’ll find him starring in the Bollywood movie titled War 2. This Ayan Mukerji production, headlined by Hrithik Roshan, is a sequel to the 2019 film War and the latest installment in the YRF Spy Universe. The release date for this movie has been set as August 14, 2025. However, it will be going up against Rajinikanth’s Coolie on the same day.
Additionally, the actor is at present collaborating with director Prashanth Neel on their upcoming film, provisionally known as NTRNeel (The Dragon).
