The video further explores the enigmatic figure of Oscar nominee Sally Hawkins, initially appearing as a kind foster mother. Yet, it won’t be long before her foster children discern her unique qualities, as she starts performing unusual and unsettling actions. Alongside Hawkins, actors like Billy Barratt, Stephen Phillips, Sally-Anne Upton, Jonah Wren Phillips, Olga Miller, Mischa Heywood, Liam Damons, and Alina Bellchambers, among others, will be part of this intriguing cast.

Directed by Danny and Michael Philippou, Bring Her Back was penned jointly by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman for the script. The film is produced by Samantha Jennings (Cargo) and Kristina Ceyton (The Babadook), with Cornel Wilczek contributing to the music score. This project represents the newest team-up of these Australian directors with A24, following the acclaimed and financially successful 2023 supernatural film Talk to Me, featuring Sophie Wilde in a leading role.

Currently, the Philippou brothers are currently working on a follow-up to their movie “Talk to Me,” which they previously mentioned has some scenes already written during the production of the original film. The second installment, titled “Talk 2 Me,” will again be directed by the Philippou brothers, and Hinzman is also involved in co-writing the sequel.
