After attending Hyderabad Public School, Sumanth shifted his focus to Film Studies at Columbia College Chicago following his withdrawal from an engineering program in Michigan. In the film industry since 1999 with the movie “Prema Katha,” directed by Ram Gopal Varma, he initially gained recognition through modest success before reaching stardom with films such as Satyam, Gowri, and Madhumasam.
