2021 saw the unveiling of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra as Skydance New Media’s inaugural title. Directed by Amy Hennig, the game chronicles the adventures of Marvel characters Black Panther and Captain America in France under Nazi occupation during World War II. Originally scheduled for release this year, it has now been postponed to 2026.
Skydance Games recently announced that Marvel 1943 has been pushed back from its original release date. This decision was made so they could further polish the game and ensure it delivers a fantastic experience in line with their vision. The new launch date is scheduled for early 2026.
