What is the Siegfried & Roy TV show called?
Based on a recent update from Variety, the upcoming series featuring Garfield and Law is titled “Wild Things.” This Apple TV+ production consists of eight episodes and features Law portraying Siegfried Fishbacher and Garfield bringing Roy Horn to life on screen.
This television series presents an exhilarating journey through the unconventional love story of two legendary magicians and their white tigers. Their mission is to transform Sin City into a wholesome haven for families. The duo constantly challenge the boundaries between illusion and truth, both personally and professionally. However, a tragic event shakes up their last show in Las Vegas, leaving behind a mystery that needs solving.
According to The InSneider, it’s been announced that John Hoffman is responsible for creating the series and will take on multiple key roles such as executive producer, showrunner, and director.
Siegfried Fishbacher and Roy Horn are renowned as the duo known as Siegfried & Roy, who were magicians and entertainers from both Germany and America. They became famous for their shows in Las Vegas, where they frequently used white lions and tigers in their acts. From the 1960s until 2003, when Horn was tragically injured by a tiger during one of their performances, the duo performed together.
In 2020, Horn passed away at 75 years old after facing complications related to COVID-19. The following year in 2021, Fishbacher lost his life at 81 due to a fight against pancreatic cancer.
