Does Brendan die in MobLand Episode 7?

In the seventh installment of MobLand, Brendan Harrigan meets a gruesome end following orders from Jaime Lopez, a powerful Mexican cartel boss who maintains a strong alliance with Richie Stevenson, which ultimately leads to Harrigan’s demise.

Previously, viewers learned that Maeve had divulged Brendan and Seraphina’s location to Richie. In the most recent installment, it became clear that Maeve’s strategic “Queen’s Gambit” maneuver did not succeed.

Instead of sparing the Harrigans as Maeve suggested by rescuing Brendan while capturing just Seraphina, Richie Stevenson instructed Jaime to eliminate both Harrigans in a live broadcast.

Jamie extended an invitation to Conrad, Maeve, and Kevin Harrigan to join him for a livestream event where it was implied that the children of an Irish gang leader would be subjected to a gruesome act. As expected, Jamie’s associates began sawing through Brendan on camera, following their initial plan.

Meanwhile, as Lopez followed Stevenson’s instructions, it was Harry, the influential fixer of the Harrigan family, who was manipulating significant events behind the scenes. It was through Harry’s extensive contacts that Lopez managed to halt the massacre prematurely. Interestingly, while Brendan appeared to be deceased, Seraphina was miraculously rescued.

Why Jaime did not kill Seraphina in MobLand Episode 7

Only one individual holds the potential to rescue the troubled Harrigan family, and that’s Harry Da Souza, played by Tom Hardy. In a desperate move, he managed to secure a significant favor just moments before saving Seraphina. The long-awaited character, Kat McAllister, was unveiled in this scene. She possesses an extraordinary ability – the power to halt a chainsaw attacker while comfortably seated aboard a private aircraft.

Harry telephoned Kat and inquired if she would be willing to perform a “significantly substantial” favor for him. Upon Harry’s urging, Kat immediately contacted Jamie to halt the killings. Regrettably for Harry, the call arrived just one minute past the critical moment.

In the meantime, Conrad is unaware of Maeve’s deception regarding Brendan’s whereabouts in Antwerp being revealed to Richie. As a result, it seems as though no matter how well Harry tries, he won’t be able to protect him from the impending turmoil.
