Bad Bunny ‘DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS’ Jumps Back to No. 1 on Billboard 200

Summary

  • Bad Bunny’s DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS returns to No. 1 thanks to vinyl sales
  • It achieved the largest vinyl sales week for a Latin album since 1991
  • This week’s Billboard 200 top two are Latin artists for the first time

Bad Bunny once again claims the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart with his album “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOtoS“, after its vinyl release.

His latest album saw a significant boost, climbing from the 7th spot and accumulating 84,500 equivalent album units in a week ending on May 8. Sales contributed the most with approximately 48,000 units, mostly vinyl LPs. The rest was attributed to around 36,000 streaming equivalent album units and less than 500 track equivalent album units. This record-breaking sales week for a Latin album on vinyl since the start of tracking in 1991 surpasses the previous record set by Kali Uchis in 2024 when Orquídeas sold 20,000 units.

For the very first time ever, the top two positions on this week’s Billboard 200 chart are held by Latin artists! Coming in at No. 2 is Fuerza Regida with their album 111XPANTIA, having sold a total of 76,000 equivalent album units in its debut week. This record-breaking album not only marks the highest-charting Spanish-language album by a duo or group, but also holds the title as the highest-charting regional Mexican music album.

Additionally this week, we have Key Glock entering the scene with “Glockaveli” at number 8. The album garnered 34,000 equivalent album units, making it his fourth chart-topping entry in the top 10.

This week’s top 10 list also includes SZA in the third spot, Morgan Wallen comes in fourth, and Kendrick Lamar ranks fifth. The remaining positions are occupied by Sabrina Carpenter at sixth, a tie between PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake for seventh, another appearance by Morgan Wallen at ninth, and Shaboozey rounds out the list at tenth.
