Blood of Zeus Season 3 Finale: Hero Heron Dies Saving Olympus, Seraphim Survives

In the third season, the epic saga of Blood of Zeus came to an end, leaving viewers wondering about the final outcomes of the two central characters: Heron and Seraphim. As gods and Titans engaged in a struggle for dominance, there were sacrifices, tests of loyalty, and destinies that were realized.

Were Heron and Seraphim able to make it through the last clash, or did they meet their end there – perhaps one or even both of them? Here lies all the revelations.

Do Heron and Seraphim live or die in Blood of Zeus Season 3 finale?

The final showdown in Blood of Zeus Season 3 saw Heron and Seraphim battling the colossal Titans, Cronos and Typhon. Despite the insurmountable odds, Heron stood firm. He summoned the divine power he received from Zeus, squaring off against Typhon in a last-ditch effort to stall for the Olympians. In an act of heroic selflessness, Heron unleashed all his strength, ultimately vanquishing Typhon—however, this act cost him his life. Heron’s death was both sorrowful and admirable, as it ensured victory for Olympus and left those who loved him in deep mourning.

As a faithful ally to Heron in our last great struggle, I, Seraphim – once an adversary of the divine – found myself battling against Cronos. In that fateful confrontation, it was I who struck the fatal blow, demonstrating my unwavering allegiance and winning the gods’ favor. Unlike my brother, I did not meet my end in the Blood of Zeus Season 3 finale. Instead, I emerged victorious from the conflict, honored for my valor. In the final moments, I was granted a unique opportunity to pay my respects to Heron and our mother within the hallowed grounds of the Elysium Fields – a privilege rarely bestowed by the gods themselves.

Charley Parlapanides, one of the co-creators, made it clear that Seraphim was not deceased but instead had been granted a journey to the afterlife as a heroic figure. The original plan for the storyline spanned over five seasons, with Heron meeting his end later and Seraphim’s narrative progressing further. However, due to Netflix deciding to cut the series short, the writers modified the ending while maintaining respect for the brothers’ legacies.
