Fox Renews Animal Control & More, Cancels 1 TV Show

As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that my favorite Fox network has given a fresh lease of life to two of its hilarious live-action comedy shows! On the flip side, they’ve decided to pull the plug on a drama series that wasn’t quite hitting the mark. This means more laughs and less tears for me as a viewer!

What shows have been renewed by Fox?

As per a recent report by Variety, it’s been confirmed that both “Animal Control” starring Joel McHale and “Going Dutch” will continue for a fourth season and a second season respectively. “Animal Control” is about a team of animal control officers based in Seattle, while “Going Dutch” continues its storyline.

The show was developed by Bob Fisher, Rob Greenberg, and Dan Sterling, spanning over three seasons with a total of 30 episodes broadcasted.

The show “Going Dutch” is headed by Denis Leary, and it delves into the tale of a Colonel who gets posted to a Dutch military base after making a controversial remark. The series was developed by Joel Church-Cooper, with its first season wrapping up in March.

Instead of renewing it for another season, Deadline states that Fox has chosen not to continue with the drama series Rescue: HI-Surf. The show wrapped up its first season in March, but had high hopes associated with it on Fox’s part, airing after the Super Bowl and receiving a seven-episode extension from the company.

Contrary to some expectations, the series hasn’t been picked up yet, as Warner Bros. Television has no immediate plans to sell it, according to Deadline.

In Hawaii’s North Shore of O’ahu, the TV series “Rescue: HI-Surf” featured Robbie Magasiva, Arielle Kebbel, Adam Demos, Kekoa Scott, Kekumano, Zoe Cipres, and Alex Aiono. The show was overseen by Matt Kester, who was not only the creator but also the executive producer.
