Official trailer and plot of Odela 2
Odela 2 is a supernatural sequel, written in Telugu, following up from the 2022 film set at Odela Railway Station. The initial movie in this two-part series was a gripping crime thriller, inspired by actual events that unfolded in the Odela village of Telangana. It told the chilling tale of a man who kidnapped and murdered newlywed brides on the day after their weddings.
As the film concludes with his wife taking his life, the next installment shifts its storytelling focus and introduces a vengeful ghost haunting the village. Subsequently, an influential Aghori devotee of Lord Shiva named Shiva Shakthi travels to Odela, determined to vanquish the evil and bring tranquility back to the town.
Cast and crew of Odela 2
Odela 2 stars Tamannaah Bhatia as the main character. Alongside her, a diverse group of talented actors including Hebah Patel, Vasishta N. Simha, Murali Sharma, Sharath Lohitashwa, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamsi, and several others, take on significant roles in the film.
This movie is orchestrated by Ashok Teja as its director, derived from a tale penned by Sampath Nandi who collaborated on producing the film alongside D Madhu. The enchanting tunes and harmonies are skillfully composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, known for his work in Kantara, while Soundararajan takes care of the captivating visuals. Lastly, it’s Avinash who skillfully edits this production.
The second installment of Odela, when it debuted, received varying opinions from critics and ultimately flopped at the cinema, primarily because its plot and management were criticized as weak.
