Excited fans are looking forward to hearing more about the upcoming event, Gears of War: E-Day. However, Xbox has recently disclosed that they’re remastering the initial Gears of War game this summer instead. Set to release on August 26, 2025, the updated version is named Gears of War: Reloaded and will be playable on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5 platforms. Moreover, it will be accessible through Xbox Game Pass from its launch day.
Today, Microsoft unveiled an updated version of the classic game, Gears of War: Reloaded, in a post on Xbox Wire. This revamped edition is being hailed by Xbox as a tribute to one of gaming’s most recognized series. Gears of War: Reloaded refashions the original campaign and its multiplayer mode, offering improved visuals with 4K resolution support and the ability to run up to 120 frames per second.
