Dylan O’Brien’s transgender sibling, known as Julz, has shared that they haven’t been in touch with him for more than a year. Julz’s remarks sparked varied reactions following Dylan O’Brien’s statement at the Sundance Film Festival where he referred to his “trans and non-binary sibling.

As a dedicated fan, I’ve noticed that Dylan O’Brien, the Teen Wolf star, has shared in the past about having a trans, non-binary sibling and knowing other queer individuals in his personal life. These experiences, he mentioned, greatly enrich his perspective on life. However, recent events at the Sundance Film Festival seem to suggest that our beloved Dylan and his sibling may not be as close as fans might hope, given their public revelations about each other.

Recently, it was made clear by the actor’s transgender sibling on Instagram that they haven’t communicated for more than a year. In case you didn’t know, Julz identifies with both “he” and “they” pronouns because he is a trans man (as reported by the New York Post).

Additionally, Julz made it clear about their duo’s situation, stating, “It’s been more than a year since we last spoke.” Furthermore, they expressed, “He didn’t reach out during my top surgery. Nor did he send a birthday greeting last week!

I’m really glad I got the chance to add some depth to his gaming journey and make the virtual world feel more real for him.
