The initial, complete trailer for J.J. Abrams’ forthcoming 1970s crime drama series, titled “Duster,” has been officially unveiled by Max.

This action-packed series, featuring Josh Holloway and Rachel Hilson in lead roles, delves into the life of a brave getaway driver (Josh Holloway), who works for an expanding criminal organization. However, things escalate from perilous to absurdly risky when a determined young agent (Rachel Hilson) arrives with a mission to dismantle his crime clan. The talented ensemble also includes Keith David, Sydney Elisabeth, Greg Grunberg, Camille Guaty, Asivak Koostachin, Adriana Aluna Martinez, and Benjamin Charles Watson.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the upcoming series “Duster” is a collaboration between J.J. Abrams and co-showrunner LaToya Morgan. Not only does J.J. produce this project, but he also has Rachel Rusch Rich on board as an executive producer, under Bad Robot’s banner.

Rumors about “Duster” started circulating back in 2020, and now it’s official – I can hardly contain my excitement as I prepare to witness the reunion of Abrams and Holloway! This thrilling new series will premiere on Max at 9 p.m. ET on May 15th. Each of the eight episodes will be released weekly, with the season finale airing on July 3rd.
