After making its debut on Netflix, Weak Hero Class 2 has garnered widespread acclaim from both viewers and critics. Ever since the show’s premiere, fans have been eager to learn how Yeon Si-eun’s story progresses in Season 2, given the dramatic turn of events at the end of the first season. One question that has sparked much debate following the release of Weak Hero Class 2 is if Choi Hyun-wook’s character, Ahn Su-ho, survives his coma. The character fell into a coma after the events of Season 1.
In this post, you’ll find responses to the curious queries from fans about what happens to the character Ahn Su-ho in the TV show that was adapted from a webcomic.
Does Ahn Su-ho die in Weak Hero Class 2?
Fans of the Weak Hero rejoiced as Ahn Su-ho successfully overcame his comatose state by the conclusion of Class 2.
Beginning in November 2022, Weak Hero Class 1 chronicles the escapades of Park Ji-hoon’s character, Yeon Si-eun, as he teams up with Su-ho and Oh Beom-seok portrayed by Hong Kyung. Initially, they band together to combat school bullies. However, due to his father’s influence and Gil-sun, Beom-seok betrays his companions. Now, seeking retaliation against his former friends, Beom-seok devises a scheme to harm Su-ho by laying a trap for Yeong-i instead.
Yet, rather than accompanying Yeong-i as initially planned, Si-eun accepts Beom-seok’s invitation instead. This action prompts the wealthy student to proceed with his malicious scheme and attack Si-eun. Upon learning about this turn of events, Su-ho becomes furious and swears vengeance. Unfortunately, his mission for retribution does not succeed as intended, leading to a brutal encounter where Beom-seok, Woo-young, and the other bullies severely injure Su-ho, putting him in a coma before Weak Hero Class 2 begins.
In Weak Hero Class 2, Ahn Su-ho is mostly unconscious throughout. However, towards the end of the season it’s disclosed that he has recuperated from his wounds. As the story concludes, Si-eun dashes to greet his friend once more, accompanied by Humin, Juntae, and Hyeontak, only to find him sitting in a wheelchair this time.
Although Netflix hasn’t officially announced a possible Weak Hero Class 3, the reappearance of character Ahn Su-ho implies that he might take on a crucial part in the show if a third season is produced.
