Disney recently revealed a fresh video featuring Lilo and Stitch, which is in preparation for the upcoming live-action adaptation of the cherished 2002 animated film. This heartwarming tale is set to premiere in cinemas on May 23, 2025.
The movie tells a heartwarming and hilarious tale about a solitary girl living in Hawaii, and an alien on the run who assists in healing her fractured family, as suggested by the description.

Lilo & Stitch video introduces Courtney B. Vance’s Cobra Bubbles
The freshly released preview hints at Emmy-winning actor Courtney B. Vance stepping into the role of the beloved character Cobra Bubbles, previously brought to life by veteran actor Ving Rhames in an animated film. Originally, Cobra Bubbles was a former CIA operative turned social worker. The diverse cast features Chris Sanders as Stitch’s voice, Zach Galifianakis as Dr. Jumba, Maia Kealoha as Lilo Pelekai, Billy Magnussen as Pleakley, Sydney Agudong as Nani, Kaipo Dudoit as David, Amy Hill as Tūtū, Tia Carrere as Mrs. Kekoa, and Jason Scott Lee.

In simple terms, the movie version of Lilo & Stitch that features real actors is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, who was nominated for an Oscar. The script was penned by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright and Mike Van Waes. The production of this adaptation is managed by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich from Rideback, while Tom Peitzman, Ryan Halprin, Louie Provost, and Thomas Schumacher serve as executive producers.
