The developer of “The First Descendant” has officially announced that Season 3 will be released in June, with a sneak peek scheduled for PAX EAST in May. The developer has provided many valuable insights during this interaction, such as a sneak peek at a significant upcoming feature slated for release in May, and intentions to introduce a fresh character into the gameplay in the future, complete with a pre-written storyline.
Looking ahead, Season 3 promises to be the largest installment yet by Nexon, with plenty more exciting developments beyond it. As customary, a brand-new character and Ultimate are in store, and they will make their debut on May 11th during Nexon’s PAX EAST livestream.
While not fully disclosing all the details just yet, TFD_Director_Jooms has shared some intriguing tidbits. When asked if Nexon would include “premium/universal descendant skins in the battle pass” due to the scarcity of outfits, Jooms hinted that “For the first time, Season 3’s Battle Pass will feature a new common skin as a reward, tailored to align with the season’s theme”. This move is in response to Nexon taking fan feedback into account regarding the worth of each battle pass, and for Season 3, they are striving to “enhance the overall experience and rewards provided”.
The director recently shared some intriguing insights about the game balance. Since they first appeared, many players have voiced concerns about Ines Raya and Serena being too powerful compared to other TFD characters. To address this issue, Jooms announced that instead of weakening Ines and Serena, other Descendants will receive power boosts in Season 3. Consequently, Season 3 will offer tougher and more engaging content through Axion, reflecting this new balance standard.
