The upcoming Tamil sports drama “Blue Star” is ready to premiere on streaming platforms soon. Starting from May 1, 2025, you can catch it exclusively on Sun NXT.
On their X account, the Over-the-Top streaming service posted an announcement that the match will start the following day. They captioned the poster with, “The stage is prepared, the stars are aligned – game commences tomorrow! The Blue Star will be available for streaming tomorrow on Sun NXT.

Blue Star is situated amidst the 1990s landscape of a tranquil yet contentious village in Arakkonam, a place steeped in history marked by strife between two distinct caste groups, perpetually fueled by a centuries-old cricket rivalry. Ranjith and Rajesh, leading figures on their respective teams, are acutely conscious of the bitter enmity simmering beneath the surface between these communities.
As the film unfolds, a startling occurrence is unveiled to viewers – an incident that planted the first disputes among the groups. Ever since, these groups have been forbidden from competing against one another in matches.
Despite their longstanding rivalry and significant differences, these two teams find themselves compelled to join forces due to a shared enemy, fighting together until the final moments.
