She questioned her place in the industry, musing, “Perhaps I shouldn’t be striving, perhaps I shouldn’t be hustling, perhaps I shouldn’t be so driven.” Furthermore, she expressed her opinion that people should not conform to societal expectations of them without question.

She admitted, “My kids were younger, and although I will always lament a significant chunk of the time I missed with them while I was busy working, I am thankful to be here now…I can’t imagine how I could leave for three months to make a movie or nine months for a TV series.
