Fans of Fortnite can catch the initial two episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld two days prior to its release on Disney+.
Titled “Star Wars: Tales from the Underworld,” this animated series is a creation by Dave Filoni, set to premiere after “Tales of the Jedi” in 2022 and “Tales of the Empire” in 2024. The show delves into the darker aspects of the Star Wars galaxy, exploring the criminal underworld via the adventures of two well-known antagonists, Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane.

Disney and Epic Games are teaming up for a special Star Wars-inspired battle royale event within Fortnite, also featuring an exclusive in-game preview of Star Wars: Tales from the Underworld.
On May 2nd, the Star Wars Watch Party event will commence on our virtual island. From 10 a.m. Eastern Time, participants can enjoy the first two episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld from Lucasfilm Animation. In addition to watching these episodes, players have the exciting opportunity to engage in battles against waves of Stormtroopers using blasters and lightsabers. This unique Star Wars Watch Party experience has been crafted within Fortnite’s Unreal Editor (UEFN) and employs official Star Wars assets to create a stunning environment reminiscent of the galaxy seen in Star Wars.
The news has come out that Fortnite: Galactic Battle is set to start on May 2, 2025. This means fresh Star Wars-themed content and weekly gameplay updates will be introduced into Fortnite.
Enthusiasts get to assume roles such as Darth Jar Jar or Emperor Palpatine, and even fly ships like X-wings and TIE Fighters. The climax of the season will be a thrilling in-game live experience called ‘Death Star Sabotage,’ according to Disney.
On May 4, 2025, Disney+ will debut the series titled “Tales from the Underworld.” This production boasts a talented voice cast that includes Nika Futterman, Corey Burton, Artt Butler, Lane Factor, AJ LoCascio, Clare Grant, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, and Eric Lopez.
