Are you wondering which cast member might be bidding farewell to Chicago Fire? This thrilling series focuses on brave firefighters sacrificing their safety to keep Chicago secure from imminent dangers. In addition to battling the challenges of their perilous careers, they grapple with personal and relational problems. Given the constant influx of new characters and departures from the esteemed ensemble, there’s much speculation about who might be exiting in 2025. Here are some insights into the situation.
List of everyone who is or could be leaving Chicago Fire in 2025
Daniel Kyri:
It has been announced that actor Daniel Kyri, known for his role as Darren Ritter on Chicago Fire, will not be part of the cast for Season 14. First appearing in Season 7, Darren was initially a firefighter assigned to Engine 37.
Afterward, he interacted with Randall McHolland and became a part of Firehouse 51. Given the financial constraints the network is experiencing, it’s possible that his character may leave the show. However, the final chapter of Ritter’s story in the series is still uncertain. Will he disappear forever, or could there be an opportunity for him to reappear in the future?
Jake Lockett:
This year, another cast member, Lockett who portrays Sam Carver, will be departing from Chicago Fire. Just like other departures, this one too is due to financial difficulties faced by the network. Reports suggest that the network is currently in discussions with key players as their contracts are about to expire.
As the series gets renewed, there will likely be a round of contract negotiations, which could result in more actors leaving due to budget limitations that may crop up throughout the network in the coming days.

It’s been a privilege to bring Sam to life and to each of you, I extend my heartfelt thanks for your affection and encouragement over the last three years.” Additionally, he expressed his gratitude towards his co-stars, crew, fans, and family members.
