A.PRESSE Endorses Summertime Suiting With Tailoring Capsule

The high-end Japanese menswear brand A.PRESSE recently revealed a fresh partnership collection with retailer everyone Tokyo, concentrating exclusively on a sophisticated suit jacket and trouser pair.

Kazuma Shigematsu’s design philosophy, characterized by meticulously creating each piece rather than entire collections, is evident in this minimalistic release. The jacket and trousers, both made of wool gabardine, drape luxuriously while maintaining a loose, flexible fit suitable for warmer climates. The trousers boast subtle waist pleats that are just large enough to avoid drawing attention away from the overall design. Unlike previous distressed items such as the Vintage Denim Coverall Jacket and the Vintage Black Chambray Work Pants from SS25, Shigematsu’s artful patina treatments are absent in this new collection, lending a clean and rejuvenating aesthetic to the tailoring.

As the Met Gala in 2025 draws closer, there’s a growing excitement surrounding the “Tailored for You” dress code theme, which has made tailoring essential in men’s fashion. Even luxury giants like Louis Vuitton and streetwear brands such as Noah are getting involved in this area. In fact, Pharrell launched his “New Formal” tailoring line for Louis Vuitton earlier this year, while Noah recently opened a men’s suit-focused experiential store at 199 Mulberry Street.

Tomorrow, the A.PRESSE x everyone tailoring capsule will be available at the A.PRESSE Tokyo flagship store and on the everyone Tokyo online platform.
