An Ancient Witch Haunts Influencers in Feed Trailer | Exclusive

Soon, ComingSoon will unveil a unique sneak peek of the trailer for Freestyle Digital Media’s latest Swedish horror-thriller, inspired by a true tale – the grisly story of Sweden’s first woman executed for witchcraft. The movie can be rented or purchased digitally across North American platforms like the internet, cable, and satellite, as well as on DVD, from May 9, 2025.

The tale unfolds when a medical student accompanies her influencer partner on one of his promotional ventures, aiming to boost an ancestral business. However, their plans take an unexpected turn when they get stranded on a small island in a lake, rumored to be inhabited by an old Swedish witch named Märit. Initially, they intend to create a believable myth about Märit residing near a commercial camping site for tourist appeal. But as events unfold, there are growing indications that Märit may not just be a fictitious ghost story.

What happens in the Feed trailer?

In this video, we meet a band of social media personalities who venture to what’s rumored to be a spooky island, said to be inhabited by the ghost of an old witch. As part of their content creation, they decide to spend time on the island, and it turns out that the local legend about the haunting might not be just a myth after all.

This film, titled “Feed,” is helmed by director Johannes Persson from a script penned jointly by Paolo Vacirca and Henry Stenberg. The talented cast includes Molly Nutley portraying Elin, Sofia Kappel as Josefin, Annica Liljeblad as Ragnhild, Vincent Grahl as Dimman, Joel Lützow as Jens, Emelina Rosenstielke as Ava, Amanda Lindh as Kirsten, Michael Odhag as Ulf, and Emma Suki as Nikolina Kostov. The movie is a collaborative production effort by Vacirca, Alexander Eriksson, and Joakim Lundell.
