Following Charlie’s fatal attack on Jake and escape with Mia, Walker and Vincent engage in a tense, spaghetti Western-like confrontation. This standoff culminates in Walker killing Vincent, but at a cost. Due to the wounds he sustained during the altercation, he eventually collapses onto the train tracks as the law enforcement approaches.

Gareth Evans, the writer and director, intentionally left an unclear ending in his work, which allows viewers to decide about Walker’s character. In an interview with Tudum, he stated that it’s up to the audience to determine whether Walker can be redeemed and if they can support him. However, it should be noted that Evans has made it known that Walker is still alive in the storyline.
