Ben Affleck ‘Stalked’ Christopher Lloyd, Has Hilarious Back to the Future Remake Idea

I just caught Ben Affleck on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and let me tell you, he’s a fellow time-travel enthusiast like myself. He shared his admiration for the Back to the Future series, even cracking jokes about what he’d do if given the chance to hop into that DeLorean!

What did Ben Affleck say about Back to the Future?

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Affleck shared that as a kid, he fell in love with the 1985 movie and went on to unintentionally become something akin to a fanatic admirer of Christopher Lloyd in later years.

Affleck recalled attending a screening of Back to the Future and realizing it was his favorite movie ever. On the subway ride home afterward, he made up his mind about this. A year later, when Christopher Lloyd was performing in a play in Boston, Affleck encountered him on the street. This was his first encounter with a celebrity or actor. At around 11 or 12 years old, he admits he followed Lloyd for several city blocks, effectively stalking him.

Later on, Kimmel playfully brought up his years-long dispute with Matt Damon, a friend of Affleck’s, and wondered aloud if Affleck would change the script to ensure they never crossed paths again, should he redo the movie. Affleck replied that it was possible, followed by a lighthearted comment about avoiding sleeping with his own mother too.

“I’d hold a picture of him and it’d get erased, and also not sleep with my mom,” joked Affleck.
