Netflix has unveiled a trailer for the upcoming political comedy titled “She The People“, starring Terri J. Vaughn (Daddy’s Little Girls). This marks the second show that Tyler Perry has developed for the streaming platform, following the successful debut of “Beauty in Black” series in October 2024. In addition to the popular family drama, Perry has also collaborated with Netflix on two more projects: the Kerry Washington-led film “The Six Triple Eight”, and the legal thriller movie “Duplicity”. Both of these productions are now accessible for streaming.
In this show, Antoinette Dunkerson, who ran a winning campaign for Lieutenant Governor, is faced with navigating a challenging work environment filled with sexism and condescension from the governor, while also maintaining harmony within her family as they adjust to their newfound public life.
