Drew Barrymore has voiced her enthusiasm for working with Adam Sandler again on a new film, stating, “Absolutely! It’s just a question of timing.

On the April 23rd edition of The Drew Barrymore Show, she mentioned that they are diligently seeking a suitable project, noting that “We’re rapidly approaching our deadline; we’ve been working on this for over a decade now” (as reported by PEOPLE).

Previously, Barrymore and Sandler acted together in movies like The Wedding Singer (1998), 50 First Dates (2004), and Blended (2014). They have maintained their friendship beyond the screen, frequently meeting up and keeping in touch. According to Barrymore, “We’re always running into each other and spending time together, so it’s just a matter of when we’ll work on something next.” She added, “We’ve gone through many changes… now we’re both parents.

She shared that she too has aspirations to work on a film with Sandler and Aniston, expressing, “I’m also constantly working towards making a movie with both of them.
