Heart Eyes Netflix Streaming Release Date Set for Mason Gooding & Olivia Holt Horror Movie

The scheduled launch date on Netflix for the movie titled “Heart Eyes” has been officially announced. This romantic-horror flick is helmed by the talented director, Josh Ruben, who previously worked on “Werewolves Within” and “Scare Me”.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m excited to share that I, Mason Gooding (known for Scream and Aftermath), along with Olivia Holt (Totally Killer, Cruel Summer), star in Heart Eyes. In this film, I play Jay Simmons, while she takes on the role of Ally McCabe. The movie revolves around a chilling tale of a masked serial killer who targets couples every Valentine’s Day.

On this particular Heart’s Day, the murderer resurfaces to haunt revelers once more, but with a twist: he had mistakenly assumed that Jay and Ally were in a romantic relationship. The movie follows their struggle to survive against this relentless killer.

For some time now, the so-called “Heart Eyes Killer” has been terrorizing Valentine’s Day by targeting and killing loving couples. This year on Valentine’s Day, no pair of lovers can feel secure.

When is the Heart Eyes Netflix streaming release date?

The movie “Heart Eyes” is scheduled to debut on Netflix on May 8, 2025, which is only a few months after its theater premiere in February. You’ll be able to watch it before the May 20th release of Netflix’s original horror film, “Fear Street: Prom Queen.

In this slasher comedy, Devon Sawa (known for Final Destination and Who Are You People), plays Zeke Hobbs. Jordana Brewster (famous from The Fast and the Furious series and Cellar Door) portrays Jeanine Shaw. Gigi Zumbado (from The Price We Pay and Bridge and Tunnel) is Monica, while Michaela Watkins (You Hurt My Feelings and Casual) takes on Crystal Cane, and Yoson An (Mulan and Five Blind Dates) appears as David Shaw. These are just a few of the stars.

The movie is penned by Philip Murphy (The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard), Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day), and Michael Kennedy (Freaky). It is overseen by Landon, Greg Gilreath, and Adam Hendricks, with Gary Barber, Chris Stone, Mel Turner, Philip Murphy, and Michael Kennedy serving as executive producers.

Currently, Heart Eyes has a staggering 81% approval rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. This highly-anticipated production is set to premiere on Netflix starting May 8.
